Hi all, years ago, I was in a Trans Am Car Club, known as the Trans Am Club Of America, Southern California Chapter. From 1985-1986, I was even President of the club. It was around that time, that I met Simo. Anyway, going thru some photos, I found this photo: All three of these cars were club members who bought these cars new. Two were autos, one a stick. This photo was taken at one of our club meetings. Just thought you'd all like to see. George

Oh my God Simo! I probably have that car's built sheet! I use to grab them at the dealerships, while checking out the cars. Got one from a '83 Daytona Trans Am, a '1983 Recaro Trans Am, and a '84 15th Trans Am. Besides others. Man, the stories I could talk about, with that dealership. Peninsula Pontiac, in Torrance, California. But no, none of those 15ths were from there. All were from Orange County. George

Great stuff!
What was it like to buy this car back in ’84? Did Pontiac promote the 15th TA anniversary? They were loaded as far as Trans Am's were concerned. It had to be expensive compared to other ’84 Trans Am’s. Were most sold for a dealer premium over invoice? Was there a lot of demand? Was there a long wait to get the car? Just curious.
