Are there any? I know that many special edition type of cars Pontiac has done has had some sort of unique items associated with it. Like Special owners manuals/ portfolio's, Jackets, patches, posters... Was anything ever done for the 15th? (Aside from the car itself)... I have a set of Detroit G/P TransAm 100 decals, but those werent really offered either...

Unique for 1984 was the flat tire seat belt attachment to hold down a sixteen inch flat tire.

Can you elaborate on that? I thought the flat supposed to go in the trunk behind the gas tank. What were the seat belt attachments like? Were they stored with the spare/jack?
I dont think I've ever seen this. Neat.

Dan, I haven't seen any collectables for this car. I have played with the idea of getting a dupe 1/10th scale RC '84 Trans Am, by Nikko, and painting it white, and getting someone to do decals in blue for me. By chance, have you ever picked up the Nikko 1/10th scale '72 white Trans Am? I have three of them, and I am playing with the idea of doing one in the Lucerne Blue color, with the black/white stripe. Now, that I think about it, the only stuff may be from CAR Motorsports, but I won't buy from them. George

That is not a bad idea. I have two Nikko 84's. One "driver" and one M/OB (The Pepsi Version). Of course I'd have to make one blue and silver to match my car. ;D I havent picked up the 72's...cause I am trying to keep someplace to walk in my house. It is too bad Pontiac didnt do a jacket for the 15th like the earlier pacecars. White with blue piping would've looked sharp!

The flat tire seat belt had a blade end to slip into the rear seat belt receptacle and the other side had a hook attachment that hooked into the t-top anchor point in the rear and was adjustable for tension. I have a picture of one some where that I sent to Silvio years ago. Never used mine but did attach it to see how it worked.
