Simo and I were talking about getting parts reproduced for the DT500 cars.
I would like everyone who is interested to make a list of what they need and would like to see reproduced.

Lets see some 4 speed OD shifters, and Red display radios. Thats about all I need right now ;D I like the idea of the embroidered floor mats though. Though the ones that came with my car are very close to mint. I'd like to see a new set of original Recaro seats too. Estimate to recover mine locally- $850 Derek

I already have the PONTIAC decal for the front and back windshield done, I have for years now. I have a original N.O.S. decals for the car that I make them from. That was easy. The silver arrow head decal on the Aero cap hasn't been re-done because the person that makes decals for me said that the machine used to produced that decal is old and expensive, and since there are no gigantic orders for silver arrow head decals I can't see that one happening and I'm an optimistic person. The other being if they were reproduced they wouldn't be exactly the same....and if they aren't spot on then why bother if it's not correct???

I have the window decals and made them from an original one.. That was easy to produce the arrows I agree would take some time and no one wants to spend that kind of time for a few orders. Thats the problem we all run into there are only a few of us out that like these cars.. and lets face it .. If a company can make money then they will make it and if there isnt any money in it then there is no reason to reproduce it

I would think interior plastic panels with carpet layovers pre cut. Could bundle with all 82-92 owners by offering color choices. This would increase buying numbers. All other plastic trim parts also. These are the parts that disinegrates in time and sun. The aero ground efx would be a good candidate. Get torn up by road debris and small impacts. Original also warped and sags and fresh parts would make your car crisp. Correct logo carpets, definitely Another way to look at it anything unique from 83 that can be produced to take a stock 82-92 car to an 83ta-dt500. Might get a company to make package of specific parts in order to get produced Doug

KITT just incase you have not found weatherstripping for your door yet... Hawks thirdgen parts has a few listed here: www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/weatherstripping_1.aspxYou may also want to check YearOne or similar places for the weatherstripping. It is often listed on Ebay too. As for the door jamb stickers... That may be a bit trickier. I know many individuals have reproduced them, but I dont think any companies have yet. You may want to check over on www.turbotransam.com I believe a few people there have a source for repro door jamb stickers. Good luck.
