The crazy part of me would probably buy that for $2500 if it was close by.

A friend of mine actually looked at this car. Assuming the engine is in good shape (BIG assumption), that would be a pretty easy fix. He sent pics to her and the rust on it is surface rust only. Door panels can be redone, seats reupholstered. It's a Recaro, so it would hold much more worth after a resto than any other trans am of that condition and age.
