Today did a smog check and got the new plates at the DMV. Went for a drive along the beach and started smelling coolant. The heater core is leaking, called the seller and he will get it fixed. Son of a Gun. Drives real nice. The smog shop owner was amazed how original it is. Less than 25k miles. Can't wait for the next drive. ;D

Cool Glad to hear the original owner will get the heater core fixed for you. I took a 30k mile DT500 car for a ride once, and it sure was nice, made me say "This is what they are supposed to ride like?" Mine just turned 215k the other day. Any custom plates on it? I hope to see more pics soon. Have fun!

Makes me want to drive mine... It's only been seven months since I last drove it... Are you bringing it out to the meeting tomorrow?

Alex,
I was going to bring it but with the rain, it won't be ready. Maybe I will just do it myself and bring it, depends on the weather.

The weather was nice today and we got the car ready. Thanks to the weather reports from those GOES weather satelllites. LOL ;D Yea the Third Gen heater core sucks but I've done worse and did one 15 years ago one my modified Daytona. So, yes I will take it tonight to the SC3G dinner in Torrance, see you there Alex. One more Jigsaw Puzzle done. Took it for a cruise down the beach cities before I put the trim back in. Makes me want to get the modified car back on the road.

Nice car Simo!! I had the pleasure of seeing this car today. The interior was amazing. I also got a ride in it. It's just sad that they had to come with the LG4... I can't wait to bring out mine so we can take a picture of both of them together.

Looks good Simo! You guys need to start a Recaro Trans Am club now. ;D Now, where were you during our Trans Am Club gatherings, back in the '80s? George
