can you get me some console button springs? My console lid wont stay down it pops up every so often thanks dude

There isn't a spring behind the console button. The GM bean counters got a hold of the design. There are two plastic fingers that are part of the button and flex when the button is pressed in. After a while the fingers break off and the console lid won't stay latched anymore. GM must have saved a $penny per car by not using a spring.
I took apart the console lid on my car and installed an actual spring. Its worked perfect ever since.

Dens is correct. There are two plastic tabs that provide the "spring" action. I also replaced them with a normal spring a while back.
