center console in my 84

i'm kinda torn on what center console to use...
the stock console has nothing really wrong w/ it..its in pretty good shape and even has the knee pad in good shape
but ..they're ugly..to put it quite bluntly
but being in good shape and the fact taht it will just bolt straight in with no work involved makes me kinda consider re-using it

or put an 85-92 radio/hvac pod in and an 00-02 bird/maro console (cup holders FTW!)

so can you guys help sway me..one way or the other..i'm equally torn ..

Well personally I'd stick with the stocker... because once you ad the 85+ Radio pod and 4th gen console...you would have a black dash, with a grey radio pod and console...

I think that would look a bit funny. Either way its not too hard to swap those parts around and see if you like it or not.

i would dye the pod black to match..easy enough to do..and the 00-02 consoles are ebony, not grey like the 97-99 consoles
