83 DT500 - 84 Radio...

Well I almost had one.

I found one out of an 84 for $4.00 on ebay.

When it arrived I knew I had trouble. The box was heavily dented...and the best part was it was shipped loose in the box I am surprised it made it all the way from California without being totally destroyed. Fortunetly the seller refunded the $ and apologized.

Face plate was cracked off, and the inside of the radio had a nice rattle.

I tried anyway and hooked it up, the clock worked but the radio is dead.

The worst part is that it looked great! It was so nice to have a correct radio in the car with a matching display.

The hunt continues...

Don't feel so bad Dan,
I've been having trouble with my Post Office delivery person (a woman).
She has been screwing around with my mail.
The Postmaster won't do a thing about it either.
I complained the last time and told him that one more time, I am going over his head.
My mail is coming already open, and 5 items I bought on ebay, never showed up.
I had bought a bunch of Product books.
I was lucky that I too, got full refunds, including the shipping.
Still though, it pissed me off, as they were all good books with bullitins in them.
2 of them I didn't have.
All from different places.
Now, I just have people send me stuff UPS.
