In Cincinnati OH today I saw what looked like a 1984 Firebird S/E very similar to mine. It was beige up top and gold on the bottom, it did not appear to have the WS6 stance, it was a hardtop and it had chrome aftermarket wheels. Looked pretty much original except for the wheels. Unfortunately no pics! I kept inching closer and closer waiting for a good opportunity, but then it took an exit.

I spotted an 83 T/A at a swapmeet this past weekend. I took a picture just have to get it uploaded. It was black with a black int and T-tops. 14" turbocast wheels (No hubcaps).

Here is the pic of the 83 I spotted back in April. It looked to be pretty complete (original interior, and radio). Sorry it took so long to get it uploaded!

As I was walking home from work the last week of May, I saw a red 82-84 Firebird. Red faded paint with the red (not the smoke-colored Trans Am) taillights and no rear spoiler, it looked pretty cool. Style points for whomever was driving. Although compared to the vehicles we share the road with, any 82-84 Firebird, regardless of condition or options, would look cool in comparison.

I saw a car that I never thought I'd see out here. A Firebird 500! White with all the grafixs. Of coarse it was driving the other way! I need to bring my digital camera around when I go places. never saw the car again, but I did notice that it had Arizona plates. George

I have never seen one in person. I guess none of them ever made it over to my coast. (although if they did...they are probably rusted away by now )

Ya Dan, A real Firebird 500. I was very surprised to see it here. I have seen a 1984 Recaro Trans Am, and a 1983 Daytona Trans Am here in town too. Just never when I am stopped. Or when they are stopped. Then again, I see them about once a year as well. I guess no one here, is ever on the computer, cause no one posts anything except me. George

Here is another sighting in my area. A friend found this car sitting on a farm. Its a one owner car with 79,000 original miles that has been parked since 1995. I stopped by and talked to the owner and he was willing to sell it. I got it started and was all ready to pick the car up. Unfortunately he misplaced the title sometime in the last 26 years and after three months of waiting for him to get a duplicate title I gave up on it. I offered him extra $$ but he was just too lazy to do it. I'm afraid this car is going to just have to rot into the ground! Another sad ending to an '82 T/A.

Wow, what a shame. For a car thats been sitting for 13 years it looks very solid and complete. How difficult would it be to get a new title issued? Shame the owner is too lazy.

The car had some rust issues underneath. The tires didn't hold air very well anymore so the whole bottom of the car touches the ground. It's definately saveable but I'm not sure for how much longer. When I went back three months later to pick up a tire and rim I put on it to move the car I could tell the car had deteriorated some more. It would have been very easy for the owner to get a new title but I just couldn't get him to do it. He said the car was "junk" to him I just went to the big fall swapmeet here this weekend and spotted this red '82 T/A on a trailer ...... so I bought it! It has a blown engine but is otherwise in pretty good shape for how little I payed for it. I hope to have it back on the road by next Spring.

Nice find! Looks like it is nice and complete. Are those original snow flakes? You dont see that too often. Good luck. Keep us updated. Is that a King Cobra in the garage? Cool.

The car came with a set of 15"x7" snowflakes. It is a factory WS6 car and I plan to put the correct "bowling ball" wheels back on the car. I already have the 15x7 N89 rims but I have to find a set of hubcaps to complete the look. I have plenty of hubcaps for the 14" rims but have yet to run accross some 15" versions.
That is a '77 Cobra II in the garage that I'm putting together for a friend.
